We are delighted to introduce our Trichologist Ana Romero Merino.

Ana is a Chemist consultant who has specialized in Trichology. Ana provides scalp analysis and hair nourishment to design anti-inflammatory and anti-aging diet, as she mostly deals with autoimmune disorders.

She is expert in hair and scalp health including capilar nutrition so you may also be consulted on how you can keep your diet, lifestyle, medications, hair care routines,etc…

To make the best diagnosis she will go through a full examination to detect scalp disorders called Dermogram and also a Trichogram may be needed to investigate in the foliculs in cases of hair loss episodes taking a root sample. In some cases, hair analysis may be done to assess the health of the growing hair bulbs or to check for structural damage and presence of lice or fungal infection. That is why a Trichologist might request blood tests from your GP, in that way she usually works alongside the Gps and Dermatologists.
